Project Description: The Voyager was converted from a seismic research vessel in 2004 at Boconco Shipyard in Bayou La Batre, AL. Farrell and Norton Naval Architects designed and engineered this complete retrofit and conversion. The vessel was stripped down to the bard hull and all systems were renewed. The main deck was completely enclosed with a new shelter deck and a new forecastle deck and pilothouse was added. The new fishing gear was installed on the new deck and steel lined fish tanks were installed in the hold. Project Features: Loa 144-6 Beam 33-0 Depth 13-6 Tonnage 199 Hold Capacity 449 Metric Tons
