Project Description: The 74 harbor tug is owned by Petcham, Inc. of Norwalk, CT. The vessel is operating as a harbor assisting tug in Port Canaveral, FL. The tug was designed to be versatile in all aspects of towing. The aft deck was strengthened to accept a towing winch and the vessel is equipped with submarine fendering. The twin Caterpillar 3508 engines produce 805 HP each.
The tug has overnight accommodations for four crew members, but normally operates on day trips. The boat was built at B&B Shipyard of Bayou La Batre, AL.
